Regional Sales Manager
Our client is actively searching for aRegional Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives within the foodindustry specifically in Ohio.
This position operating autonomouslyentails overseeing the complete sales cycle from prospecting tofinalizing deals while aligning with salestargets.
Travel :
Extensivetravel up to 80% of the time is integral to this role necessitatinglongdistance travel with frequent overnight stays.
The majority oftime will be spent either at the Northeast Regional Office or atthe incumbents home office for thorough preparation and followup.
Occasional weekend travel may be required for meetings and tradeshows with some international travel alsoanticipated.
Responsibilities :
1.Identify sales prospects among existing clientele and potentialcustomers through diverse prospecting methods.
2.Attain territory bookings and invoiced salestargets.
3. Efficiently manage travel schedule tooptimize customer engagements.
4. Providerequisite information and documentation for sales proposals andorders.
5. Leverage resources like CRM marketingtools and support personnel to advance salesprocedures.
6. Maintain uptodate and precise CRMrecords.
7. Contribute to the development andexecution of a business plan and budget for the designatedterritory.
8. Monitor and report competitiveactivities within the territory.
9. Attend tradeshows sales meetings and industry events asnecessary.
10. Stay informed about industrytrends and salesstrategies.
Qualifications :
1.Bachelors degree preferred; however consultative sales experienceis essential.
2. A minimum of four yearsexperience in selling Customized Capital Equipment to EndUserswithin the Food Packaging or Food Processing sectors.
Candidateswith at least two years of relevant sales experience will also beconsidered.
3. Possession of a current validdrivers license and the capability to obtain a passport fortravel.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in leadgeneration through various means such as trade shows networking andcoldcalling.
5. Technical understanding ofcapital equipment machinery and operations with a background inselling intricate tailored solutions.
6. Proventrack record of sales success showcasing a consultative approach tonegotiation and deal closure.
7. Strong existingrelationships with customers or decisionmakers in the foodprocessing or packaging industry.
8. Bachelorsdegree in Engineering is advantageous.
9.Proficiency in Office 365 tools and CRMsystems.
WorkEnvironment :
Thisrole entails exposure to diverse environmental conditions includingwet / humid conditions moving mechanical parts and extremetemperatures.
Physical requirements may involve occasionallifting / moving up to 25 pounds and frequent walking and sittingactivities.
