Preferred skills in EP, Structural Heart, MacLab, Xper, Cerner.

Description :

Position / Specialty : Cath Lab Tech

Shift : 4x10s Days 0700 - 1730

Years of experience required : 2 Years

First-timers accepted : Yes

Weekend requirement : As needed

On Call requirement : Yes, 18 days of call in 8 weeks

Floating requirement : Yes, may float for procedures

Blocked scheduling : Unit manager will consider

Local candidates accepted : Yes

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week, facility is allowed to call off 6 times throughout a 13-week assignment.

All employees are expected to adhere to quality and patient safety standards established by the facility.

Job responsibilities include accurate monitoring, angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, and cardiac interventions.

Additional responsibilities may include performing embolization, endovascular interventions, and catheter placements.

Candidates should be familiar with various cardiac diagnostic and intervention procedures.

Experience with charting systems, especially Cerner, is preferred.

Preferred competencies also include familiarity with special equipment utilized in the Cath Lab.

Candidates who have worked in trauma settings or have previous charge experience are encouraged to apply.

Travelers must be prepared to float to other units based on patient census and skill set.
