Job descriptionPlan and coordinate all on and off center work based learning sites for students on center. These sites should encompass all career technical training offerings. Facilitate new, local and distant work based learning sites for students to obtain the necessary work experience. Log and track all work based learning hours for students in the work based learning program in center information system (CIS). Establish a network of employers that consist of paid and unpaid sites, local and distant. Distant sites will represent work based learning opportunities for students. Work with career technical training instructors to ensure students are learning the necessary skills to maintain success on the WBL site. Attend all CRC and CIC meetings to ensure consistent connections with local employers and businesses to continue opportunities for students. Work closely with the business community liaison at community events to publish and promote the WBL program. Maintain a spreadsheet and other tracking documents regarding all students who are enrolled in the WBL program. Assess students work skills, appearance and articulation skills before they are sent to a work site. Conduct work based learning seminars with students and instructors to highlight the importance of the WBL sites and expectations of the site. Bachelor's degree and one (1) year related experience. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required. Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday

What you will be doing
You'll be responsible for coordinating all work based learning (WBL) activities both on and off center for all students. Coordinate work based learning for those students who do not reside in the local area, in compliance with government and management directives.
