The opportunity

At EY, we are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Upstream Reservoir Engineer to join our growing consulting practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading energy clients on complex reservoir challenges, leveraging your technical expertise to deliver high-impact solutions. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support strategic decision‑making, optimize asset performance, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives across the upstream value chain.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and delivering innovative infrastructure solutions. You will capture user requirements and ensure that design and technical specifications align with both user and business needs. This position is essential for driving our cloud practice forward, particularly in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager in Technical Engineering, you will lead the delivery of complex processes and solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and risk management. Your role will involve navigating operational and organizational dynamics to achieve performance objectives. You will have the opportunity to build and manage client relationships, drive revenue generation, and lead teams with broad visibility across multiple activities.

In this role, you will also be responsible for :

• Managing client relationships and leading client engagements from planning through execution and closure.
• Developing resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring engagement economics are effectively managed.
• Providing leadership and direction to team members, offering feedback and guidance to enhance performance.
