Job Description : As a BCBA / Behavior Specialist with Soliant Health, you will play a key role in providing behavior support and interventions to students with diverse needs.
You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized behavior plans that promote positive behavior and academic success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data.
- Provide direct behavior therapy and support to students in various settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Train and support school staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior interventions and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive support plans for students.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligibility for certification (for BCBA applicants).
- Experience working as a Behavior Specialist in a school setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
