Head Of Growth Retention
MoneyLion is building a full-funnel growth engine that connects acquisition, conversion, and retention across a portfolio of fast-scaling financial products. As Head Of Growth Retention, you'll lead the strategy, team, and systems that turn new users into lifelong customers. You'll activate data-driven, cross-channel programs that bridge performance marketing and CRM driving engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value.
This is a highly visible leadership role for a strategic marketer who can blend analytical rigor, creative thinking, and team leadership to scale one of the most innovative fintech ecosystems in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead MoneyLion's growth retention strategy, connecting acquisition, activation, engagement, and loyalty into a seamless customer journey.
- Build and manage a high-performing team fostering collaboration, experimentation, and accountability.
- Own core retention metrics activation, churn, reactivation, LTV and deliver measurable business impact.
Full-Funnel Integration
Partner with performance and brand marketing to align lifecycle and acquisition strategies, ensuring creative and messaging consistency across the funnel.Develop integrated full-funnel campaigns that connect upper-funnel awareness with mid-funnel conversion and lower-funnel retention.Lead retargeting and re-engagement programs that turn paid media audiences into loyal, retained customers.Collaborate with Product and Growth teams to build conversion and onboarding journeys that accelerate first-value moments and reduce early churn.Establish shared KPIs across lifecycle and acquisition tying brand spend and performance media to downstream retention and LTV.Champion a test-and-learn culture that connects creative, targeting, and timing insights across paid and owned channelsCRM & Lifecycle Excellence
Develop a CRM strategy across email, push, in-app, SMS, and emerging channels driving personalized engagement at scale.Leverage tools like Iterable for campaign automation and Hightouch (or similar) for customer data activation and segmentation.Build modular campaign systems that connect lifecycle triggers with acquisition and conversion insights.Data, Insights & Growth Systems
Partner with Analytics and Data Science to define and operationalize customer health metrics and predictive models for churn, upsell, and LTV.Use behavioral data to inform audience strategy and lookalike modeling for paid channels.Translate insights into strategic recommendations that shape the entire growth engine not just CRM.Experience / Qualifications
10+ years of experience in growth, lifecycle, or CRM marketing, with at least 3+ years leading high-performing teams.Proven ability to connect full-funnel strategies across acquisition, conversion, and retention.Hands-on experience with Iterable, Hightouch, and other marketing automation, CDP, or personalization platforms.Demonstrated success driving retention and revenue growth in fintech, marketplace, or consumer tech environments.Analytical mindset with deep comfort in data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across marketing, product, and analytics teams.Why This Role Matters

Location & Flexibility
This role is based in our New York City office and requires three days per week onsite for collaboration and team alignment. You'll also enjoy six weeks of "Work from Elsewhere" flexibility each year, giving you the freedom to work remotely from anywhere for up to 30 business days annually.
Compensation & Benefits
