Job Summary and Responsibilities

CHI Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advance d Practice Provider ( APP) to join our innovative Critical Care / eICU team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to provide care both virtually through the electronic ICU (eICU) and in person at the bedside, engaging in a diverse patient population across multiple hospital locations in the Omaha / Metro area . You will work in a collaborative, academic environment while enhancing your skills in advanced critical care management.

Schedule : Three 12 hour shifts / week, Rotating Days / Nights (approx. 60 / 40 split).

Nocturnist option with increased pay differential available on request. Holiday rotation.

Two open positions / one is a nocturnist option

Bedside Rounding (Rover)

• Daily ICU rounds with physicians, evaluating new consults, and intervening in acute patient care.
• Opportunity to perform advanced procedures (arterial lines, intubations, central lines at the bedside).
• Rotate bedside coverage at four hospital locations : Immanuel / Lakeside / Mercy Council Bluffs / CUMC Bergan
• Average IP volume 10-15 pts in morning; 2-3 pts in afternoon
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, manage treatment plans, and document care in alignment with hospital protocol.
• Collaborate with fellows and faculty in an academic center, participating in case discussions, teaching and continuous professional development.

Pay Range

$61.00 - $71.52 / hour
