Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Engineer 1 (Distribution) to fill a three- year assignment in the Pell City, AL area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Job Title : Engineer 1 (Distribution)

Work Location : Pell City, AL (with the possibility of temporary assignments in adjacent operations)

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Candidate must have three - five years of relevant experience

Required PPE : Individual would be required to wear EH rated steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, traffic vest, rubber gloves, and FR clothing. The job requires opening padmounted transformers and field engineering which will require all of the above-mentioned PPE. The job also requires working in the field with crews from time to time where the individual could be exposed to energized parts or equipment requiring PPE. The traffic vest will be required when the individual is working along a public highway.
