Job description

Job Overview :

  • As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC machines to produce precision parts.
  • Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate manufacturing of components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Machine Setup : Prepare and set up CNC machines based on job requirements.
  • Load materials into the machine and secure them properly.

    • Operation :

  • Monitor the CNC machine during operation to ensure it is producing quality parts.
  • Make necessary adjustments to machine settings for precision and efficiency.

    • Quality Control :

  • Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify any issues that may affect product quality.

    • Maintenance :

  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their proper functioning.
  • Identify and report any machine malfunctions or irregularities.

    • Documentation :

  • Maintain accurate records of machine settings, adjustments, and production quantities.

    • Safety :

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

    • Collaboration :

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control personnel.

    • Preferred qualifications :

  • Candidate must have some or all of the following Educational / Technical requirements : Mechanical Engineering degree / diploma.
  • Previous experience as a CNC Operator or relevant technical training.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and precision.

    • Preferred skills and abilities :

  • Candidate must have some or all of the following skills and abilities : Candidate must have some or all of the following skills and abilities Technical proficiency in CNC machine operation.
