Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational opportunity is available for a dedicated Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. This contract position supports a small caseload in an engaging learning environment.

Location : Fabens, TX

Duration : Non-school year contract

Student Caseload : 4 students

Monthly mitment : Approximately 4 hours

Responsibilities :

• Provide tailored instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Collaborate with educational staff and parents to develop individualized learning plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Facilitate munication access and promote inclusion within the school setting
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
