Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A teaching opportunity is available for an educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract position supports a small caseload of students, allowing focused and meaningful instruction tailored to individual needs.

Location : Clint, TX

Duration : School Year (NSY)

Student Caseload : Approximately 4 students

Estimated Monthly Hours : Around 4 hours

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a K-12 environment
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Utilize effective munication strategies and technology to enhance student engagement and learning
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Advocate for the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within the school munity
