Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within a K-12 school setting located in Tornillo, TX. The position is a contract role for the uping school year, designed to support a small caseload and provide focused instruction and support.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering tailored educational support and services to four students identified as Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
• Collaborating with school staff, families, and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional approaches as needed.
• Participating in meetings and ongoing professional development related to Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
