In addition to standard janitorial programs, EDGE offers complimentary services including floor care, carpet cleaning, glass cleaning, pressure washing, jr. engineering along with other building maintenance services. EDGE has successfully gained its position in the marketplace primarily through positive client referrals and word-of-mouth advertisement. The Assistant Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for supporting and executing the strategic direction of the Day Operations Division. This position works closely with the Director of Operations, gaining exposure to high-level decisions, operational planning, and leadership development in preparation for a future Director role. The Assistant Director will provide direct support and coaching to Route Managers, oversee startups, drive accountability for service performance, and develop programs that strengthen operational excellence across the organization.

Leadership & Team Development

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and guidance to Route Managers, Supervisors, and field teams.
• Ensure Route Managers are trained, supported, and held accountable for quality, communication, labor management, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular 1 : 1s, route audits, performance reviews, and growth plans for Route Managers.
• Build a positive culture rooted in teamwork, communication, and operational ownership.
