Electrical Commissioning Specialist

Title : Electrical Commissioning Specialist Location : Houston, TX Pay : $55–$60 / hour + OT Per Diem : $115 / day Duration : 8+ months Schedule : 60-70+ hours per week Start date : ASAP Responsibilities Support all electrical commissioning activities and ensure compliance with project standards. Direct and oversee electrical technicians and commissioning personnel. Develop and execute functional tests and ensure systems are ready for activation. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide resolution support. Maintain accurate documentation, red-lines, and commissioning logs. Collaborate with mechanical and operations teams for integrated system turnover. Submit daily progress updates to leadership. Qualifications 5-10 years of industrial or power plant commissioning experience. Strong background in electrical systems and construction practices. Commissioning experience in power generation projects (simple cycle preferred). Ability to work extended schedules in a fast-paced project environment.
