Key Responsibilities of the Accounting / HR Assistant :

Accounting (50%)

The Accounting / HR assistant will process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Support monthly reporting and reconciliation processes

Utilize Excel regularly-must be comfortable with formulas and IF statements

Human Resources (50%)

Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time

The Accounting / HR Assistant will maintain and update the employee database

Assist with onboarding of new hires and support other HR functions as needed

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting / HR Assistant :

Associate degree in Accounting OR equivalent recent accounting experience

Previous HR experience OR a strong desire to grow in HR responsibilities

Strong Excel skills, including working knowledge of IF statements

The Accounting / HR Assistant must have the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
