Responsibilities

As a Patient Coordinator , you play a vital role in supporting providers and ensuring every patient has a smooth and positive experience. Responsibilities include :

• Patient Check-Out & Scheduling : Review provider recommendations, schedule follow-ups, and ensure treatment plans are clearly explained.
• Treatment & Supplement Coordination : Schedule recommended diagnostic tests, review supplement plans, and provide printed copies for patients.
• Medications & Prescriptions : Call in prescriptions accurately, assist with prior authorizations, and coordinate weight loss medication orders such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.
• Insurance Verification & Payments : Submit insurance verification requests, communicate coverage outcomes, and discuss payment or cash options as needed.
• Office Communication : Collaborate with fellow Patient Coordinators, providers, and medical assistants to maintain smooth office flow and consistent communication.
