Title : Production Planner / Sr. Planning Analyst (ERP – JDE Preferred)

About the Role :
- We are seeking a hands-on Production Planner to support a dynamic, fast-paced new product manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for work order creation, production scheduling, and ensuring material readiness for the production line.
- You’ll work closely with production teams, distribution centers, and cross-functional partners to keep operations aligned and running smoothly.
- This is not a finance role or a buyer-only role - candidates must have true planning experience within a regulated or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Production Planning & Scheduling :
Create, release, and manage Work Orders in the ERP system.Build and maintain weekly production schedules aligned with operational priorities.Coordinate with production teams to ensure they are working on the correct priorities.Calculate and communicate actual planning times to set accurate expectations across teams.Material Readiness & Coordination :
Support Purchase Order creation when required.Ensure material availability for production and resolve shortages or delays.Work closely with our nearby distribution centers to align material flow.ERP & Data Accuracy :
Perform accurate, timely transactions in Oracle JDE (preferred) or similar ERP.Maintain high accuracy in planning data to avoid downstream errors.Use Excel (medium–advanced level) for planning, tracking, and reporting.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Communicate with production floor teams daily to resolve planning or scheduling questions.Support a new product line with constantly evolving requirements.Adapt quickly to new challenges and process changes.What We're Looking For (Must-Haves) :
Min. 2+ years of hands-on production planning or scheduling experience (not buyer-only roles).Experience working in an ERP / MRP system (JDE highly preferred).Strong Excel skills for planning and analysis.Excellent communication skills (top priority).Ability to work 100% onsite in Draper, UT arriving on-time to support production readiness.Bachelor’s degree required.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in medical device, pharma, semiconductor, or other regulated industries.Prior exposure to new product introduction (NPI) environments.5+ years' experience.Interested?
