Come join our team as a part-time Library Page! The City of Newport Beach is seeking a Library Page to join the Library Services Department. Currently, there is one part-time vacancy at the Central Library. The eligibility list created from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur in the Central Library, Balboa, Corona del Mar, and Mariners branches.

Selection components include application evaluation, an online exam, and a virtual interview. This is an entry-level position in the Library series with a career path including Library Clerk I, Library Clerk II, and Senior Library Clerk. This position works a flexible schedule of up to 19 hours per week including days, nights, and weekends based on the needs of the Library.

No experience is required, but previous clerical experience is preferred. Equivalent to completion of the tenth grade is required. A valid and appropriate California driver's license and an acceptable driving record may be required due to the performance of some field duties which require the operation of a personal or City vehicle.
