BluePearl Pet Hospital in North Hills, Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant primarily for our Emergency Department, with the ability to circulate to other departments as needed.

Pay : $15.95 - $18.33 / hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through leveling system. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

For example :

• Mon Fri : 6pm to 8am = $3.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun : 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun : 8am to 6pm = $3.00 Shift Differential

A Kennel Assistant attends to the basic needs of animals that are patients of the hospital and cleans the hospital facility, equipment, and tools. The role may include assistance with basic patient care such as the safe restraint of patients during treatment.
