Responsibilities Work as a Resource Pool RN in a hospital setting, floating to all PCU and Med / Surg units Assignment duration is 13 weeks with three 12-hour night shifts each week (6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM) Patient ratios are 5 : 1 for PCU and 6-7 : 1 for Med / Surg units Staffing office may require floating to different units every 4 hours based on hospital needs Epic EMR experience is required No Christmas time-off requests can be approved All requested time off must be submitted up front Eligibility for local travelers is based on distance from the address on driver's license Float assignments and patient loads are based on real-time hospital needs Local travelers within 50 miles are eligible for one 13-week assignment with no extension Requirements Active VA or Compact RN license required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required RN must be comfortable working in all PCU and Med / Surg units Epic EMR experience required Two professional references required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624634.
