Responsibilities Position is based in a hospital resource pool and requires floating to all Progressive Care and Med Surg units Nurses may be reassigned every 4 hours based on hospital staffing needs Patient ratios are 5 : 1 for PCU and 6-7 : 1 for Med Surg units Epic EMR experience is required Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM Resource pool nurses are required to float frequently and adapt to a variety of care settings throughout their shift Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, and two during the winter holidays Christmas RTO cannot be approved Modules and orientation completed during the first 24 hours may be paid and are tracked by the facility Assignment extensions are not possible for candidates residing within 100 miles; locals are not eligible to extend beyond one assignment All requested time off must be declared before consideration Dress code and uniform requirements will be provided during orientation Requirements Active VA or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Comfortable working in both PCU and Med Surg settings Epic EMR experience required Must provide two professional references for consideration Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to specific assignment limitations Previous employees must be separated for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624634.
