License Requirement : Applicants must possess a valid State of Hawaii Journey Worker Electrician License, Journey Worker Industrial Electrician License, Supervising Electrician License, or Supervising Industrial Electrician License.
Supplemental Information
Salary : The advertised salary is based on full-time employment and includes shortages and school year differentials, if applicable.
Requirements : Applicants must meet all requirements for the position as of the date of application. Education and experience requirements, if not specified, may not be gained concurrently. Calculation of experience is based on full-time 40-hour workweeks. Part-time experience is pro-rated. Example : 12 months of experience at 20 hours / week equals 6 months of experience. Hours over 40 per week are not credited.
Temporary Assignment : TA experience to meet minimum qualifications must be verified and attached to the application using one of the options below :

Information about Temporary Positions : Temporary positions may be extended year to year depending on funding and departmental needs. Payday : New employees can expect their first paycheck within the first 3 pay periods of their start date. Payday is on the 5th and 20th (or previous business day) of every month.

Electrician License (cont.) Please indicate the type of Electrician License possessed. A copy of the license must be submitted to receive credit. Types may include EJ (Journey Worker Electrician), ES (Supervising Electrician), EJI (Journey Worker Industrial Electrician), ESI (Supervising Industrial Electrician), EJS (Journey Worker Specialty Electrician), ESS (Supervising Specialty Electrician), or None.
Driver's License : This position requires a current, valid driver's license. A copy must be mailed or attached upon applying. If not met, your application will not be considered.
Ability to Lift and Carry : Must be able to lift / carry up to 50 pounds unassisted, or up to 100 pounds assisted by another person or equipment. If you do not meet this requirement, your application may not be considered.
