Overview
Senior Advanced DSP Engineer position in Fort Wayne, IN. Contract Position. Pay Estimated : $65.99-$70.99 / Hour. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.). Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance.
Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace and Defense company. This job involves analyzing, designing, developing, and testing DSP algorithms implemented in hardware and software for RF-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and test anti-jam systems utilizing spatial beamforming and beam nulling techniques
- Develop and implement GNSS and AltNav anti-jam algorithms, with emphasis on multi-channel signal processing
- Analyze, design, develop, and test digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for RF (radio frequency) applications
- Focus on statistical signal processing, multi-rate signal processing, and RF effects mitigation
- Conduct algorithm development for RF systems including signal parameter measurement, detection and estimation theory, and random process analysis
Qualifications
U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearanceBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6+ years of job-related experienceExperience designing, implementing, and testing anti-jam systems with spatial beamforming-beam nullingExperience developing a multi-channel anti jam algorithm from a mathematical perspectiveAJ implementation of GNSS and AltNav preferredKnowledge of STAP, SFAP, or similar AJ algorithmsStatistical Signal Processing, Multi-rate Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processing for mitigating / processing RF effectsAlgorithm development for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements utilizing techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information TheorySignal processing architectureAlgorithm development (RF Systems)Systems requirements analysisPerformance verification and validationFixed point model conversion for hardware implementationSoftware / hardware partitioning and tradesHardware / software implementation collaborationHands-on system performance verification and validation in the labCompany and Equal Opportunity
