SALARY SCHEDULE & BENEFITS: Extracurricular roles are on a salary schedule, paid via stipend during the school year. The Performing Arts Extracurricular assignment is defined as a non-certified employee used only in the Performing Arts Program. Compensation is paid during the school year via stipend and not eligible for benefits.
REPORTS TO: Director of Performing Arts
GENERAL SUMMARY: This role supports Performing Arts related duties. The ideal candidate promotes an appreciation for teamwork, displaying and demonstrating our core values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Assists with one or more performing arts extracurricular activities (e.g., school play, musical, drama club, dance, or performance ensemble).
- Attend auditions, rehearsals, and performances outside of regular school hours.
- Collaborate with other staff members, including music directors, choreographers, set designers, and volunteers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in theater, performing arts, directing, or arts education (preferred).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs other duties as assigned by the Performing Arts Director and building administration

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The duties and responsibilities of this role involve a high degree of organization and physical activity. The job typically involves some combination of walking, standing and sitting, and may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds). Some chores of this job may require heavy lifting or other physical abilities often associated with manual labor.

Tasks are regularly performed with exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, temperature, and noise extremes. Exposure to machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, animals/wildlife, toxic/poisonous agents, disease, or pathogenic substances is not typical.
