Test Services Technician
Hire Up Staffing has partnered with a global leader in the telecommunications industry specializing in the manufacturing and testing of RF equipment and is currently seeking an experienced Test Services Technician in Dallas, TX.
Pay : $20-$25 / hr.
Hours : Mon.- Fri. 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. with some weekend hours, if busy.
Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of parts and assemblies.
- Perform testing according to specific procedures, documenting results accurately.
- Assist in developing test procedures for new equipment.
- Conduct quality control inspections and testing on production parts.
- Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
To excel in this role, you will possess :
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (engineering drawings, blueprints, technical manuals, etc.)
- Proficiency in using electronic equipment and computer programs.
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment assembly and maintenance.
- Quality control analysis skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to concentrate on tasks.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, climate controlled though.
- Utilize proper industry tools and equipment and knowledgeable of how to maintain and repair (soldering, machine operation, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation.
- Effective verbal and written comprehension and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using company software and a MS operating platform.
Education :
- Associates Degree / Trade school certification or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of relevant training or work experience required.
