About the Role :
We’re seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations, maximise occupancy, and ensure exceptional tenant experiences for our [residential / commercial / mixed] portfolio. You’ll be the face of our properties—balancing tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and financial performance.
Core Responsibilities :
1. Tenant & Leasing Management :
- Market vacancies, screen applicants (credit / background checks), and execute leases in compliance with fair housing / local laws.
- Conduct move-in / move-out inspections and handle tenant communications / conflict resolution.
2. Maintenance & Vendor Coordination :
Schedule repairs, inspections, and emergencies with trusted vendors (plumbers, electricians, and cleaners).Perform routine property walkthroughs to uphold safety and curb appeal.3. Financial Oversight :
Collect rent, track delinquencies, and enforce lease terms.Prepare monthly owner statements, annual budgets, and expense reports.4. Compliance & Reporting :
Ensure adherence to local housing regulations, insurance requirements, and company policies.Document incidents, maintenance logs, and lease agreements.Requirements
Qualifications & Skills :
Must-Have :3+ years in property management (residential / commercial).Working knowledge of leasing laws, tenant rights, and basic accounting.Proficiency with property software (AppFolio, Yardi, Rent Manager).Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills.Preferred :Certification (e.g., CAM, CAPS, CPM) or real estate license.
