We’re looking to hire a Content Developer for a Global eCommerce Marketplace Company.

This is a 100% remote contract opportunity through December 2024 with potential to extend

Please note this is PT hours - 30 hours / week

As a Content Strategist you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer journeys and experiences through insightful content solutions.

Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing content performance, shaping organizational strategies, and ensuring seamless content delivery mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Customer Insight and Improvement : Gain deep understanding of customer needs to drive enhancements in their interactions with eBay.
• Content Performance Evaluation : Assess content performance metrics and contribute significantly to organizational planning by establishing monitoring and reporting processes.
• Process Enhancement : Develop and implement standard operating procedures for content management, fostering collaboration and efficiency among team members and partners.
• Content Management Systems : Establish and optimize content management systems and technologies to ensure effective content delivery aligned with audience needs.
• Content Matrix Guidance : Collaborate with content design teams to make informed decisions on Self & Guided as well as assisted content matrices, leveraging industry best practices.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product and platform teams to refine authoring and content delivery mechanisms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Innovation and Adaptation : Stay abreast of content delivery developments and recommend innovative tools and approaches to enhance content accessibility and engagement.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Cultivate strong relationships with user experience research, design, brand, product development, and engineering teams to advocate for content strategy alignment in strategic discussions.
• Governance and Implementation : Ensure accurate implementation of agreed content strategies across various platforms and channels through collaboration with governance and design teams.
• Content Planning and Assessment : Conduct content needs assessments, audits, and planning processes for a diverse portfolio of content initiatives.

Requirements :

• Effective Communication : Ability to articulate content strategy concepts clearly and concisely.
• Writing Skills : Proficiency in crafting, editing, and curating content to meet quality standards.
• Strategic Insight : Understanding of how strategic objectives translate into impactful content solutions.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years in content strategy, content design, or knowledge management roles.
• Content Management Expertise : Strong knowledge and passion for technology-driven content management solutions.
• Methodological Proficiency : Expertise in modern content strategy and design methodologies.
• Multichannel Experience : Experience in developing content strategies for diverse environments with multiple platforms.
• CMS Knowledge : Functional understanding of content management systems tools and technology, including Oracle KM, JIRA, and similar service tools
• Educational Background : Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, journalism, library science, communications, marketing, human-centered interaction, or related fields.

This is an international role requiring collaboration with teams across North America, Europe, and Australia.
