Emc Test Engineer

Element has an opportunity for an EMC Test Engineer who can apply engineering problem solving skills to evaluate wireless devices for global Regulatory compliance involving EMC / RF Testing for wireless consumer technologies in a fast-paced environment and industry. Performs testing of the latest cellular (4G / 5G) and unlicensed (WIFI / BT / etc.) technologies to determine FCC (US) and ISED (Canada), and other global regulatory body compliance.

Salary : $38-45 / hr

Responsibilities

Performs and analyzes EMC / RF and RF exposure compliance testing and evaluations per regulatory specifications

Compiling and reporting test results using MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat

Evaluate devices and determine applicable standards

Interface and communicate with clients and engineering teams in a technical and professional manner

Work in a team environment and assist in development and improvement of test methodologies, reporting, coordination of various tasks, etc

Coordinating and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines

Skills / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree

Must be customer-focused, organized, good communication skills, fast learner, team player, and detail-oriented

Wireless / EMC / RF / Laboratory environment experience preferred
