Duration : 11 Months with possible extension

Location : Santa Cruz, CA

Pay Range : $45.00 to 50.00 Per Hour

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to spearhead the validation of cutting-edge in-vehicle and mobile app solutions for a leading delivery service. The role involves hands-on in-vehicle testing, driving the QA process, and leading test strategy development to ensure the highest quality product delivery. The successful candidate will be instrumental in performing manual test case regressions, release regression, and feature testing along with providing detailed bug reports and test summaries.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate product functionality, devise test strategies, and execute test cases to ensure product quality.
Lead the testing of large-scale systems, including creating test plans and cases while driving improvements in the QA process.
Provide precise bug reports and perform debugging across multiple environments.
Communicate with engineering and technical teams for requirements gathering and with management for project progress updates.
Deliver test summary reports indicating quality indicators, risks, and mitigations.

Must-Have Skills :

4+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer in manual testing and debugging.

Experience testing Bluetooth / BLE technologies.

2+ years experience in a test or development lead role as part of a product development organization developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging

Valid US driver's license with willingness to participate in on-road testing activities.

Industry Experience :

Proven background in Infotainment or Automotive software testing.

Experience with in-vehicle technology integration and testing.
