Pay range : $18.00 - $19.50

Positions available in Del Valle, East LA, Compton, Carson, Pacoima, Rosamond, Van Nuys, Northridge, Sun Valley, Santa Ana, Canoga Park, Huntington Park, Ontario

We welcome walk-ins to come in Monday-Friday 10 : 00am to 2 : 00pm. Please be prepared and bring your Original Certifications with you (no copies)!

We are looking for reliable and responsible ARMED Guards in LA County. Preferred candidates have at least (1) year of Armed Security or Law Enforcement or Military experience.

• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must have a valid Guard Card, Firearm Permit, Baton Permit, CPR, and OC Pepper Spray for this position.
• Must obtain ORIGINAL certificates for required permits and certifications

ITEMS TO BRING TO YOUR INTERVIEW :

• California ID / DL
• Security Guard Card
• Pepper Spray Card
• Baton Card
• CPR Card
• Armed Permit and Dealer Record of Sale (with Fire Weapon)

Key Areas of Responsibility :

• Safely Patrol an assigned area for any safety or security risks
• Monitor CCTV Cameras
• Respond to reported incidents as necessary
• Maintain a log of any activities
• Document any visitors to the property
• Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary
• Maintain client relationships
• Properly document incidents
• Must be able to communicate effectively and be able to provide excellent customer service
• Armed Officers carry lethal to less lethal equipment for de-escalation and defensive purposes
• Other duties as assigned per post.

AIS is a BSIS licensed Private Patrol Security Operator that provides security services spanning from Los Angeles County to San Bernardino and Riverside County.

Job Offers and Contingencies

• Signed Acknowledgment of Receipt of Employee Policy and Procedure Manual
• Verification of Guard License and any additional applicable permits.
• Execution of Company Arbitration Agreement
• Execution of Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Agreement

Failure to meet all contingencies satisfactorily will result in the offer of employment being rescinded. In the event that a candidate may be allowed to commence work while waiting for the results of the contingencies, the employment would terminate immediately if any of the above contingencies is not satisfied.

Offers of employment must be in writing, signed, and authorized by Human Resources in order to be valid.
