Your role as a Weekend CT Technologist is impactful, contributing significantly to our patients' experiences. We seek a compassionate and skilled individual to join our dedicated team.
Job Responsibilities :
Perform CT scans efficiently while ensuring exceptional patient care.Gather patient histories and retrieve orders or prior images as needed.Communicate critical patient information to radiologists regarding exams.Document all relevant procedures accurately and timely.Facilitate patient flow and verify all exams listed for completion.Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.Educate and inform patients about their procedures, responding to inquiries.Maintain equipment and workspaces in accordance with departmental standards.Start IVs and use the power injector for contrast administration.Prepare procedure trays with necessary supplies.Engage in quality improvement and performance initiatives.Exhibit understanding of patient care across different ages and requirements.Qualifications :
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography (R).Associate Degree required.Preferred : One year of experience in a related field, though not necessary.TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center has been committed to community care for over 40 years, providing critical healthcare services, including emergency, cardiology, and rehabilitation.
