Position Summary : The dual purpose of this job position is to ensure appropriate scheduling of all licensed and non-licensed nursing staff to cover shifts 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and to ensure the completion of resident monthly billing functions.
Hours : Full time / 37.5 Hours (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Ensure adequate licensed and non-licensed nursing staff to meet CJL staffing patterns and federal and state requirements;Review, record, and manage requests for time off in accordance with CJL's policies and procedures;Maintain staff attendance records;Update staffing sheets on an ongoing basis;Replace any call-outs as soon as possible;Monitor schedules to ensure that overtime is not incurred without the prior approval of the AdministratorTrack annual staff education needs for resident care departmentOversee scheduling of residents for onsite specialist visits (podiatry, dermatology, dentist)Assist with weekly payrollComplete and submit monthly ancillary billing charges for residentsSubmit monthly LTC insurance claimsProvide correspondence to residents and families regarding rent increases, payment reports for tax purposes, monthly invoices etc...Field calls related to resident billing and monthly invoicesQualifications :
Must have computer experience;Experience as a scheduler in a health care setting preferred;ADP experience preferred;Must possess outstanding organizational skills;Must be able to interact effectively and professional with residents, family members, visitors, governmental agencies / personnel and other staff membersChelsea Jewish Lifecare is an equal opportunity employer.
