Job Summary : The VP Enterprise Data Platform will own the platform strategy for the core portfolio of enterprise data platforms. This will ensure the smooth delivery of data operations and consistent improvement of processes and methodologies to store and maintain data. This leader will maximize the deployment of short-and-long-term technological innovations, specifically cloud technologies, to create a centralized operational data structure hub built on standard practices of interaction and uniformity to serve the entire enterprise data foundation and support each individual platform. The VP will interact with and influence senior leaders in the company, up to and including the Chief Operating Officer and business unit CEOs.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to : involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
• Own the development and deployment of the Enterprise Data Platform cloud roadmap, in conjunction with the broad enterprise data strategy that will provide the operational foundation for data storage, access and use across the organization as well expand platform capabilities in line with BU expectations.
• Deliver flexible, high-quality platform infrastructure and operational solutions that adhere to privacy policies, mandates and regulations to continuously improve platform processes and technology in line with time parameters and budget expectations. This delivery will be focused specifically on cloud technologies while mitigating legacy on-prem data infrastructure.

Pay Range Minimum : $170,000.00

Pay Range Maximum : $352,500.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
