Nutrition Services Associate - Full-Time - Flexible Hours

St. Croix Health is seeking a Full Time (0.8 FTE) Nutrition Services Associate to join our team. The scheduled hours vary, starting as early as 5 : 30 AM and ending as late as 7 : 30 PM, including every other weekend.

The Nutrition Services Associate assists with serving meals to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as well as cafeteria clients and catered events. Responsibilities primarily involve kitchen prep work, such as cutting, dicing, assembling sandwiches, and register duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Determine meal production needs, prepare hot and cold meals following recipes, record production, and monitor food temperatures.
• Operate the Point of Sale system to charge guests accurately, manage cash drawers, and record transactions.
• Set up, deliver, and retrieve patient trays, ensuring timely and accurate service, and handle late tray deliveries as needed.
• Fill and deliver stock orders for departments, restock supplies, and manage inventory.
• Perform minor responsibilities including cleaning, operating dish machines, taking temperatures, answering phones, handling room service requests, and assisting with grocery stocking and prep work.
