Material Program Manager
Raytheon is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to join the Standard Missile 3 team (SM-3 IIA program) as a Material Program Manager located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. We are looking for a self-starter who can develop and achieve program objectives in a matrixed environment and is able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this role, you will be the liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team for Supply Chain. The role will support development and obsolescence efforts, ensuring material strategies align with evolving program requirements and integration to the production flow. This includes identifying future at-risk components, developing mitigation plans, and supporting overall material readiness. You'll contribute to the execution of Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure the flawless execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through integration to production. The successful candidate will influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization.
What you will do :
- Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
- Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives
- Contribute to timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management
- Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtain any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and / or Modifications (TCMs).
- Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
- Generate Supplier Request for Information / Proposals / Quotes (RFIs / RFPs / RFQs), and obtain and understand supplier proposals / quotes.
- Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
- Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.

Typically requires : A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and / or Strategic SourcingExperience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and / or Procurement processes and requirements.Qualifications we prefer :
