Senior Material Program Manager
Raytheon is seeking an experienced Senior Material Program Manager to join the Tomahawk production program and be responsible for execution of production suppliers located onsite in Tucson, Arizona.
The successful candidate will influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization.
Responsibilities include :
- Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
- Management of suppliers to ensure the successful execution of production contracts, including procurement, logistics, and supplier management, to meet delivery, cost, and quality targets
- Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives
- Financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.), The MPM may act as the Control Account Manager
- Overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk / Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop / evaluate the make / buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR / DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
- Issue / Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers
- Manage timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management
- Support MRP Scheduling and Master Data requests
- Willingness to travel domestically / internationally, as required
Qualifications you must have :
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant supply chain experience or an advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant supply chain experienceExperience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and / or Procurement processes and requirements.Experience managing program cost and scheduleExperience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)Experience using supply chain planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis, etc.)Qualifications we prefer :
