Technical Curriculum Developer role at Pure Storage . We're in an exciting area of tech and reshaping the data storage industry. This role focuses on building and maintaining sales and technical training that enables our worldwide seller community (Pre-Sales, Sales, System Engineers, Partner Sales, and Channel Partners). The right candidate is learner-obsessed, creative, and capable of solving real customer challenges through innovative instructional design and curriculum development.
With this opportunity, you will leverage your instructional design and curriculum development experience to help build and maintain training in a growing GTM organization that delivers measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design sales and technical training courses across modalities (on-demand, live, virtual, peer-to-peer learning, and assessments).
- Define course requirements, create deliverables, and manage course progress through delivery when applicable.
- Develop facilitation guides, instructor guides, and student guides.
- Maintain and update training materials and course catalogs.
- Develop and maintain technical hands-on labs.
- Align curriculum to company initiatives and roadmap; incorporate Pure sales strategy into technical training.
- Update courses based on student and field feedback.
- Collaborate with content creators across the company to identify effective content for the audience.
- Apply deep knowledge of storage and networking technology; stay current with product, GTM strategy, and industry trends.
- Bring a creative approach to learning and teaching.
What You Bring To The Team (Qualifications)
Minimum of 3 years in a curriculum development or instructional design role.Experience in a sales enablement organization and / or field role.BS degree or equivalent practical experience.Knowledge of technical solution areas (databases, AI, analytics, virtualization, containers, etc.).Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to write, design, and manage projects.Experience in instructional design, performance-based delivery, and design project leadership.Ability to create, implement, and validate assessments to measure training effectiveness and impact.Experience in complex courseware development in dynamic environments.Experience with video editing tools (e.g., Final Cut, Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere, After Effects, Camtasia).Experience with content generation tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline360, Rise360, Captivate).Graphic design knowledge is a strong plus.Awareness of current instructional design innovations and technology.Work sample required for consideration.Position primarily in-office with work from New York, Chicago, Lehi, or Santa Clara offices in alignment with company policy (unless on PTO or approved travel / leave).Salary and Benefits
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level, and location. For positions open to multiple locations, the base salary reflects the labor market across applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and / or equity.
The Annual Base Salary Range Is
$79,000—$168,000 USD
