Credentialing Coordinator

UPMC Community Care Behavioral Health is hiring a full-time Credentialing Coordinator. The team is based out of downtown Pittsburgh's US Steel Tower, however, this role may predominantly work remotely, but will need to report to the office at times (as needed). Candidates will need to reside locally. The ideal candidate will have :

• Strong Excel skills and experience with pivot tables.
• Project management or leadership experience.
• Healthcare experience is a bonus but not critical.
• Credentialing experience is a bonus but not critical.

This position processes applications and performs primary source verification for applicants to the facilities and organizations of UPMC. Processes applications and performs primary source verification for reappointment and recredentialing for practitioners who are members of the facilities and organizations of the UPMC. Maintains a current and accurate database of credentialing information.
