Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description :

Aston Carter is partnering with a food and beverage company to find a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk. This individual is primarily responsible for providing assistance to the AR team by prepping and posting all cash payments, creating journal entries, and completing miscellaneous data entries to apply cash and credits to open receivables and reconcile accounts.

Job Duties :

• Prep and post all cash payments via Bank of America, High Radius, and SAP, as presented by the Corporate Treasurer. To perform this requirement, Specialist will access various portals to obtain the remittance detail (EDI, AR Inbox and / or direct customer portals).
• Will access data to create journal entries to clear closed deductions approved in Blue Planner from SAP.
• Complete miscellaneous data entries to apply cash and credits to open receivables and to reconcile accounts.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Corporate Credit Manager.
• Assist with various accounting tasks / projects as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

• Cash application experience necessary.
• 1-3 years experience in accounts receivable or related field.
• Interpersonal and Communication :
• Must have strong oral and written skills.
• Strong computer skills required.
• SAP experience preferred.
