Hemodialysis Technician

Description

The Hemodialysis Technician initiates, monitors, and discontinues dialysis treatments under the direct supervision of an RN. The technician assists with stocking the unit mixing baths, setting up / tearing down and cleaning machines. Maintains the dialysis equipment and assists with obtaining water samples for analysis.

Shift Details : Full-time, 36 hours weekly, Day shift.

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training in dialysis and basic nursing functions.
• Upon hire : Washington Medical Assistant Hemodialysis Technician Certification
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Experience in a patient care setting
