Sales Manager, Omnichannel

Eaton Corporation's North America Electrical Sales Division is hiring a remote Sales Manager, Omnichannel, located within 50 miles of any U.S. Eaton facility. The Sales Manager will play a key role in positioning Eaton as a leader, ensuring strong relationships with our channel partners and driving overall business growth. The Sales Manager will be accountable for achieving sales plan goals, fostering customer intimacy and satisfaction, and driving market share gains across national accounts and within the ecommerce space. They will focus on maximizing the return on investment (ROI) of sales and marketing strategies to ensure the effective deployment of resources and optimized performance across all channels. The role requires a hands-on leader who can guide their team toward successful execution while maintaining strong oversight of financial performance and customer engagement. In this position, the Sales Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and sales leadership, to ensure a consistent and compelling go-to-market approach. They will also be tasked with developing new strategies to adapt to changing market dynamics and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

In this function you will :

  • Responsible for leading and developing a high performing team. Key items include : recruiting, assessment of talent (find gaps and follow action plans to fill gaps), training & development, goal setting, communications, performance appraisal, and conformance to company policies and standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure professional growth for employees and retention within the team.
  • Capable of serving as coach / mentor for high potential professionals outside of the function / region.
  • Direct enablement KPI's that support sales plans to reach market share objectives across all support functions.
  • Collaborate to develop thought leadership for the market by developing partner value propositions, recruitment and enablement content, programs, and offers.
  • Support the proper integration, execution, deployment, implementation, and sustainability of front-end initiative tools such as SalesForce.com
  • Manage and optimize product listings, ensuring they are fully optimized for search and conversion.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Transform voice of customer into value propositions and leading sales / marketing tools, working closely with product marketing / management and marketing communication teams.
  • Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback to improve product ratings and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with online retailer policies, algorithms, and best practices to ensure compliance and maximize sales potential.
  • Support the creation of a centralized dashboard with data coming from the various systems and distributor and partner POS reports.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Minimum 7 years sales / marketing and / or E-commerce.
  • Possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Relocation assistance is not available.
  • Candidates must currently live within a 50-mile radius of an Eaton facility in the United States to be considered.

  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience managing people and channels.
  • Experience in e-commerce sales, with a focus on Amazon.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
  • 10+ years of IT industry sales experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $165,000-$242,000. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
