Job Title : CT Tech
Variable Shift
Role : Operate CT equipment to produce images, assist with procedures, and provide patient care under the Radiology Manager's supervision.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain CT scanner.
- Position patients for CT exams.
- Follow protocols for ordered exams.
- Evaluate patients' medical history.
- Administer IV and oral contrast.
- Assist physicians.
- Manage patient flow.
Additional Tasks :
Handle appointments, patient transport, supply orders, and phone calls.
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of CT protocols and diagnostic equipment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Graduate from ARRT Accredited Program.
- 2 years of experience preferred.
Certifications :
- CRT from State of California.
- RT ARRT, Fluoroscopy, ARRT in Computed Tomography, BLS, and Venipuncture certification.
Working Conditions :
- Hospital radiology department environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, and patient handling.
