Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is inviting experienced Lead Caregivers to apply!

We are looking to expand our Caregiver family.

We are looking to hire someone that can work with our clients, caregivers, and other office staff.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Weekend Lead Caregiver helps support the company’s goals of providing our clients “continuity of care”.

The Weekend Lead Caregiver will be available every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 8 : 00 p.m.. The Weekend Lead Caregiver is guaranteed to get paid for 24 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

▫ Primary role -

Start new cases with clients

▫ Secondary role - Fill shifts which are open due to call-offs

Requirements

▫ C.N.A. certification with at least 5 years of experience

▫ Must be willing to drive throughout the territory ( Montgomery, Howard, and Baltimore County)

▫ Should have a desire to teach others and have strong communication skills with building rapport with families and caregivers.

▫ Must be willing to work with either male or female clients.

Personal care will be involved.

▫ Must be willing to work in a home where cigarette smoke is present for a short period of time.

▫ Must be willing to work around or in the same environment with pets. (e.g. cats, dogs, horses, birds, etc.)
