Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, completion and operational integration of new generation and distribution projects into Ameren's energy delivery systems.
Key responsibilities include :
Assist in development of, or revision to, function-specific project management policies, procedures, and implementation.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required, degree in an engineering or engineering management discipline preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or must actively pursue PMP certification upon hire. Three years relevant project management experience required. Relevant experience includes project management, and / or project lead engineering experience on large and medium complex projects. Experience in project management controls area preferred. Project coordination or team leadership experience preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate :
Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools required. General understanding of generation and distribution systems required. Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting required. May be required to work emergency callouts. Overnight travel within the Ameren territory required. Excellent leadership and organizational skills required. Ability to work effectively with competing priorities and stressful situations required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Additional Information :
Standard Day Shift in office or field environment. Significant travel, overtime, and / or off-hour work may be required based upon individual project oversight needs. Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and / or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
Compensation Range : $84,400.00 - $204,400.00
