Pay : $18-$22 based on experience
Required Experience :
- Minimum of 1 year working within healthcare setting.
- Preferably in revenue cycle, medical billing, medical collections, or insurance verification.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Skilled communicator and collaborator.
Example of daily responsibilities includes :
- Perform duties for revenue cycle department related to either medical insurance collections, credits, or setting patient insurance coverage.
- Communication with insurance payers to ensure proper coverage for patients or to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for services rendered at our client’s clinics.
- Responding in a timely and accurate manner to payer communications.
- Collaboration with other revenue cycle teams to ensure seamless processes across divisions.
- Partnering with clinic teammates such as Insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators to ensure timely and accurate insurance information.
- Identification of process changes and opportunities for continuous improvement measures.
- Ongoing maintenance of current patient account information.
- Diligence in maintaining confidentiality of all company and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
