Position Type :The Department of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management is seeking a Federal Work Study Assistant to provide administrative support for programs, services, and activities managed by the Administrative Assistant to the SVP.
Duties include :
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and events; preparing materials, capturing minutes for distribution, and archiving documents for future reference
- Research for projects and presentation preparation
- Processing invoices, completing expense reimbursements, and tracking budget expenditures
- Preparing travel authorizations and coordinating travel arrangements
The student may work with / for other staff in the unit on a project basis, as time, skills, and need dictate.
Requirements include :
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Forms)
- Highly dependable
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort working with highly confidential documents and information
Applicants must be current Franklin University students with Federal Work Study eligibility. Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the department.
The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours per week from the downtown campus of Franklin University. There may be potential opportunity to work a hybrid schedule in the future.
