We are seeking a passionate and skilled Virtual Occupational Therapist to join our network in Pennsylvania. As a Virtual Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients through virtual platforms.

You will work remotely, using telehealth technology to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals in need of occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities :

Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, as well as their home and work environments.

Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, focusing on improving clients' functional independence and quality of life.

Provide virtual therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to address their specific needs and goals.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and physical therapists, to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.

Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home modifications to support their rehabilitation and recovery.

Document patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Stay informed about advancements in occupational therapy practices and telehealth technology, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and growth.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications :

Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist, with experience in virtual or telehealth settings preferred.

Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and technology for virtual assessments and therapy sessions.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and advocating for the well-being of individuals with disabilities or injuries.

Flexibility to adapt to changing workflows and embrace innovative approaches to healthcare delivery.
