Job role : Application Support Specialist
Duration : 3 Months CTH
Location : Onsite 5 days a week in Las Vegas, NV 89139

Daily Duties / % of Time Doing What :
Maintain and program Micros POS system (primary responsibility)
Configure, deploy, and maintain hardware / software across hotel, casino, bar, and front-of-house systems
Perform backups / restores and review logs for abnormal activity
Application support for Aristocrat Gaming, Oracle Fusion, Bartec, Lotus Notes, Visual Basic
Cross-train and support other IT functions as needed
Ensure compliance with Gaming Control Board regulations and company SOPs
Provide escalated customer-facing support with strong guest service focus
Maintain communication with managers, vendors, and team members
Top 3 Technical Requirements :
Micros POS (configuration, deployment, programming, maintenance)
Aristocrat Gaming + Oracle Fusion system support
General IT hardware / software deployment, troubleshooting, and escalated support
Top 3 Nice to Haves :
Experience with Bartec application (hospitality operations)
Lotus Notes and Visual Basic programming
Casino / hospitality industry IT support background
Official Job Description -
Maintains the Micros POS system and performs Micros POS programming.
Configures, deploys, and maintains computer hardware and software.
Other programming and implementation (Lotus Notes, Visual Basic, etc.) as needed.
Performs routine backups and restores.
Reviews various computer system logs for abnormal activity.
Cross-trained in selected other IT functions.
Follows SOPs and updates SOP appropriately.
Ensures computing systems are operating in compliance with the Gaming Control Board regulations.
Maintains a high quality of guest service according to client STYLE.
Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
Adheres to all appearance and uniform standards.
Maintains an open line of communication with Managers.
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job. Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
