What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for booking, selling, planning and coordinating social and corporate events while assuring the highest level of customer service. Generating revenue, establishing new accounts, monitoring booking space, booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high. As well as be a liaison between your client and the operation teams within the hotel. Responsibilities will also include staying current on industry trends, and you seek creative ways to infiltrate markets and accounts

• Actively prospect and qualify new business.
• Negotiate Food and beverage, function space, and / or hotel services within approved booking guidelines, and produce and / or review all contracts and Banquet Events Orders.
• Coordinate and help execute full details of events and activities with accuracy through detailed communication with clients and interdepartmentally.
• Work closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
• Ensure that all events are meeting all contracted requirements including food & beverage minimums, attrition, cancellation etc..
• Produce monthly sales-related reports for assigned area of responsibility.
• Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
• Completes any special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing or Director of Catering.
