Product Design at Crunchbase

The Product Design team at Crunchbase is a highly-valued partner, and responsible for driving and executing the roadmap and vision for our popular product.

Wearing multiple hats, we produce valuable, easy to use, and well-crafted products through intentional, user-centric design decisions.

We enable our users to streamline their workflows and work more efficiently. Every decision we make impacts our global audience.

The Product Design team strives to create solutions that convey answers, not data. We push the limits of requirements and scopes to build the best possible product.

What You’ll Do

• You will lead a diverse set of design initiatives to help take the Crunchbase user experience to the next level
• Partner closely with Product, Research, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to represent the Product Design team
• Facilitate collaborative design discussions with cross-functional partners that result in greater user empathy
• Design user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for high value user experiences
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into experiences that streamline how our users work
• Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the product and executive teams
• Participate in generative and evaluative research and turn results into actionable design solutions
• Understand the competitive landscape and evaluate product design trends to better inform our own product development

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3-5 years of experience in product design
• Lead design for product focus area within a multi-disciplined, highly collaborative team
• Proven success of shipping experiences to users, monitoring results and making iterations based on user feedback
• Strong user experience, interaction and visual design skills
• The ability to work collaboratively, communicate efficiently, manage timelines and present ideas effectively
• Take ideas and abstract concepts to fully realized designs while feedback from multiple sources
• Has a strong desire to learn and grow in a rapidly changing environment

Base Salary : $150,000.00 - $167,500.00. You may also be entitled to receive equity and benefits.
